the urban news for the week ending Friday, March 2, 2007

...and so little time to say it. As I've stepped up and started doing more actual "work" with various organizations and initiatives in lieu of creating many "words" in support of downtown revitalization and related issues, I'm really feeling the pinch on my time and not having as much of it as I would like to have to dedicate to writing. I've got so much I want to share...and in time I'll get there...but for the time being, it's the nose to the grindstone...

But as I mentioned, I'll at the bare minimum give you some updates on what I'm up to and what is going on around town in a weekly-highlights fashion.

This week, I completed and launched the first round of the AIA Columbus - Columbus Re-WIRED Web site that will be an online resource to follow along as this Multi-mode Transit Station Design Competition gets underway with 3 community charrettes, two of which you will see listed below in the Upcoming Events section with the third to follow next week. Be sure to visit the site and sign-up for the e-mail list to keep in the loop as the contest unfolds in the coming months and learn about transit issues in Columbus.
