![]() I'll pull off my frock and step down from the pulpit...but only for a moment. But before I do, I'll wrap up the last few weeks of editorials by saying this: The most important element to grasp from RetroMetro is that having, forming and expressing an opinion is one of those fantastic constitutional freedoms that allows for us to step out into the open and say what we feel. I have, and continue to express my opinion about downtown to the pleasure of some and the pain of others. I have valid reasons for my opinions that I have formulated over the past 2+ years and I shouldn't have to hunt for information nor should I be waiting around with baited breath for the next "big announcement" in regards to downtown which is how it works in Columbus. Downtown revitalization is not a specator sport. Nothing could bring me more pleasure than being wrong on every critical observation I've made about downtown. That would mean there is no need for RetroMetro and I can go back to...uh, whatever it was that I did before this. Who am I kidding, I love this stuff. Off with the frock and on with the chef's hat. Let's look at what I've got cooking.
