Last week I blathered on in my usual form about how it was going to be a good year. Well, when we step beyond the good stuff I see developing in terms of grassroot efforts, this year promises to be even more interesting beyond the urban grassy goodness.

When I write about grassroots efforts, I'm not implying that we will see an extensive amount of developments and activities that will bear noticeable fruit this year, at least in comparison to any typical year. What I refer to in the grassroots world is that of a stir that is going on, collaborations forming and untapped influence beginning to be put into motion. It's more about the people power that is coming to life that has been dormant for so long.

So with the grass between our toes, a nice spring breeze at our face and the sun warming off the winter gray...just what is it that I think is going to be so interesting?
