![]() If a "faux" suspension bridge is to be the icon that represents Columbus then it is almost too symbolic for what is currently the core of our downtown revitalization plans. Perception, shifting plans with little-to-no means of public accountability, limited innovation, barely a hint of public involvement and significantly disconnected investments in urban projects that don't have transparent synchronous objectives to me represent a "faux" revitalization plan. Always remember, I'm just a citizen with an opinion, doing what I can to work towards a future for the city that I see as being one to stick around in and even move to from another city. It is only through uniting of our individual passions that downtown Columbus will come into it's own. No city conceived plan will do it on it's own and we have a history in this city that can attest to that fact. That's just how I see it.
